Surveyor's Tripod Lamp

SURVEYOR’S TRIPOD LAMP  (available at J Parker Reclaimed)

This floor lamp features an authentic surveying tripod from the early 1900’s.  It was originally built by the A. Lietz Company in San Francisco (est. 1892) to provide rock solid support for their precision measurement instruments.

This tripod was made to last using hard white maple legs, solid brass hardware, and iron feet.  The lamp has been professionally wired with UL-approved components including a heavy-duty brass 3-way socket (max. 150W) and a braided fabric covered copper wire cord.

This lamp was featured In the "History in the Making" episode of HGTV's hit series Home Town, when designer Erin Napier chose it during a visit to J. Parker Reclaimed in Laurel, Mississippi.  They only borrow the furnishings for staging and it is still available.

It measures 62" Tall.
