This very special commission was for the cremains of a dear friend. It is a wholly original design with contemporary styling and a Japanese influence.
The imagery and text were all thoughtfully chosen to honor a life well lived but far too short. A striking combination of Curly Maple and Black Walnut along with solid brass hardware combine to create an elegant place of repose.
The finish is multiple coats of lacquer that has been hand rubbed to a satin sheen.
It measures 8-1/2" Wide by 18" Long by 8-1/2" Tall.
